The Dance Connection- Recital Information

WE ARE A PEANUT FREE STUDIO THIS ALSO APPLIES TO OUR PERFORMANCE AT THE COLLEGE.

TUITION Classes will meet up to Recital. Tuition for June is a full payment. The tuition rate is divided into ten equal payments. All tuition and any other outstanding balances must be paid in full before May 23rd.
PLEASE DO NOT MAIL PAYMENTS AFTER THIS DATE., DROP THEM OFF AT THE STUDIO.

TICKET SALES - ORDER FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE STUDIO Sunday April 29, 2012 - 10:00 am – 12:00 noon $15.00 per ticket - IF PURCHASED ON SUNDAY APRIL 29th.
$18.00 per ticket - IF PURCHASED AFTER APRIL 29th OR AT THE DOOR
1. Tickets will go on sale on the above date, you have two options. Come on that day to turn in your order form along with the total amount due for your tickets.
2. Drop off the order form any other day after April 29th during regular business hours. Please fill out the order form fully, if you have any specific requests, please note them on your form and we will try to accommodate you. We number each form in the order it is received and this is how we process the orders. It is first come first serve. Tickets will be handed out as soon as the orders have been processed. (approx. 3wks) TUITION MUST BE UP TO DATE AND COSTUMES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED.

PROGRAM ADS Program Ad Forms are available at the studio, Ad deadline is Sunday May 5, 2012, Anyone that would like to place a personal “congratulations” ad to your dancer may do so. Each ad must be the size of a business card, you may place as many as you wish. Ads are $10.00 each.

“THE BRIDGE AT CHERRY HILL” PERFORMANCE SATURDAY MAY 26, 2012 2:30 pm arrival - 3:00 pm show time We will be hosting a short performance on the above afternoon. It is great practice, especially for the younger dancers. Please refer to the schedule at the studio to see which dance you will be performing.
ARRIVE AT THE SPECIFIED TIME IN THE APPROPRIATE COSTUME.

PICTURE DAY Sunday May 20, 2012 A photographer from SHARPSHOOTERS will be at the studio on the above date. Each class has a scheduled appointment for pictures. Please see the schedule at the studio for your times (DO NOT BE LATE). Individual and group pictures will be taken in each of your costumes. Anyone that is unable to attend on your scheduled time or have any questions, please see the receptionist.
PAYMENT WILL BE DUE AT THE TIME OF THE PHOTO SHOOT.

DRESS REHEARSAL Sunday June 3, 2012 Rhode Island College-Roberts Auditorium Your child will have a FULL DRESS REHEARSAL at the studio. Rehearsal at the auditorium will be done without costumes. (Bring shoes only) Please check the bulletin board at the studio for your rehearsal time. It is extremely important that everyone arrive on time at the college.
(PLEASE, DO NOT BE LATE) DUE TO THE NUMBER OF DANCES THAT NEED TO BE REHEARSED, WE ARE UNABLE TO WAIT FOR ANYONE.

RULES FOR RECITAL DAY Sunday June 3, 2012 6:00 p.m. show
1. All performers and volunteers should arrive at the auditorium one hour before show time, unless you have been requested to do so earlier, so that you will have plenty of time to get ready. NO ONE IS TO ARRIVE IN COSTUME.
2. Positively no one is allowed backstage or in the dressing room other than mothers and authorized personnel. No fathers or other males of any age will be allowed in the dressing room.
3. Positively no still picture taking or video recording will be allowed at the recital. Camera equipment will not be allowed in the theater for the actual performance.
4. All performers must remain for the entire show. No performers are allowed in the lobby, auditorium or the public bathrooms in the front of the auditorium. No one is allowed to change in the public bathrooms. Once backstage, everyone must remain backstage. Children are not allowed to eat in the dressing rooms. You are allowed to bring in a water bottle, but please WATER ONLY, anything else may stain the costumes.
5. Moms, during the show please take your seat in the audience. You will only be required to go backstage to change your child into their next costume. There will be ample supervision backstage, one mother from the class will be asked to stay with the children so they see a familiar face. Please abide by this rule. Should your child need you, we will ask you to come back to the dressing room. We have a seating plan so we can get to you quickly. Please change children at designated times. Please bring a towel or blanket for your child to sit on, a coloring book and crayons to occupy them while they wait to go on stage.

BACKSTAGE PASSES All moms will be given a BACKSTAGE PASS this pass is your identification to go into the dressing room before, during and after the show. Please pin this pass to your clothing so that you will not forget it. No one is allowed in the dressing rooms without this pass, you will be asked to show it every time you go backstage. If you are unable to assist your child backstage, please be sure to make arrangements ahead of time with an alternate female and be sure to give us her name. This is done for the safety of the children, sometimes Rhode Island College is having other functions in the same area and we need to know who is going in and out of the dressing rooms.

DVD - A DVD Order Form will be available at the studio Don’t miss out on the memories, your dancers will enjoy watching themselves along with all the other routines including their instructors. DVD will be available for purchase, please fill out the order form and drop it off at the studio with your payment, or drop it in the mail. DVD will be mailed directly to your home. Extra order forms are available at the show.

DANCE COMPANY FUNDRAISER PLEASE HELP SUPPORT OUR DANCERS. THANK YOU. 50/50 RAFFLE Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be sold before the show and during intermission. A winning number will be chosen at the end of the show.

FLOWERS will be available for purchase in the lobby before the show and during intermission.  A portion of the sales will be donated to the Dance Team.
